About Me

  My name is Jeff Herbert, but I love to go by my content creator alias Brotha Herb! This name was given to me by an Army Co-worker, in Hawaii, and it has stuck to me like glue, since 2015. All the beautiful scenery and wildlife in Hawaii grew my passion for photography, unleashing my untapped power of being a content creator.

 

​  I am originally from Landover, Maryland, 15 minutes from Washington, D.C. I left Maryland to pursue a military career in the US Army. After 10 years of active-duty service, I knew it was time to move on to something different and so did my back and knees! One year before I retired from the US Army, I picked up content creation for YouTube which brought to my attention a whole new world of thinking and creating memories.​ 

 

After becoming a YouTuber and realizing how much work went into creating videos, I decided to receive the proper schooling, with the intent to stand out from my peers. I decided to join Full Sail University Online, based out of Winter Park, Florida. My goal is not to chase a degree yet, I want to pursue the experience, from the knowledge that I gain from my schooling, I plan to perfect everything that I have learned and apply them to the real world!
